Private Pay Only
Dr. Kimberly Benson and her team operate as private pay providers. This means we do not accept insurance directly; however, we will gladly provide monthly superbills (detailed receipts) that you may submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Coverage varies, so please contact your insurance provider with the following questions:
- Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?
- What is my deductible, and has it been met?
- How many sessions per year are reimbursed?
- What is the reimbursement rate per session?
- Is pre-authorization or a referral required?
Sliding Scale Availability
Sliding scale fees are available on a limited basis and are reserved for clients who demonstrate financial need and are engaged in consistent, weekly psychotherapy.

Payment
Payment is due at the time of service. We accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards, including American Express and Discover. Cancellations require at least 24 hours’ notice to avoid being charged the full session fee.
